As a counselling psychologist who has worked in these various setups - from consulting at clinics, a rehabilitation centre, corporate organizations to being a counsellor at an international school - it is my firm belief that the core counselling skills can be used in any setting to facilitate the kind of changes you want to make in your life, irrespective of age, gender or presenting concerns.

By working with an objective and trained counsellor, you receive the right conditions to address the concerns that have been impacting you. to help you de-stress and adapt the best way you can.

In the case of major changes that have occurred in your life, our goal is to help you adapt to it, and return to functioning and feeling the way you used to.

We provide counselling as a tool to deal with everyday stressors that unknowingly influences us as individuals.
 
 

Common Concerns

There may be numerous reason to seek out counselling. Some common concerns that bring individuals in for counselling are:

  • To develop awareness about your own thinking, feelings and behavior that can help you grow
  • Stressful situations that have been causing you to feel overwhelmed.
  • Health concerns and disrupted sleep. Common health concerns seen in counselling are headaches, exhaustion, poor appetite, backaches and IBS among others.
  • Symptoms of low self esteem, anxiety or depression.
  • Relationship dynamics with your loved ones that can cause distress.
  • Loss of interest in activities that you once enjoyed.
  • Feelings of discontentment, irritability and anger.
